Torquay and lots of sea food

So, a couple of weeks ago Ted (my boyfriend) came to visit on his week off work, which was a nice change as it meant I had some company; after staying on my own for for the past month before that. We basically did what we do best for the whole week: Eat.

As soon as Ted arrived, we headed down to the harbour for some food, and of course it had to be sea food. We ended up at a little place called 'Claws Indoors' as another customer, that was sitting outside, beckoned us to come in and try the "delightful" food.

We decided on: dressed crab, and salmon fishcake with prawns, to share.

And it really was, "delightful".

The second day a food market was in town. Brilliant! So we went on down, and bought ourselves these local delights:
 (Check out their website here)

And ate them with a bottle of wine, in front of a movie.

The day we managed to tear ourselves away from all the delicious food, was the day we decided to visit Torbay.

So we hopped on the foot ferry and off we went...

One of Torquays' main features is it's big wheel...

...and of course, it's harbour.

We also HAD to get more food whilst we were there.

And naturally a Devon cream tea..

On the last day, it rained, so we decided to go out for, wait for it..

More food....
I had grilled fish of the day, which was sole

And Ted had moules frites (mussels and fries)

Sorry this has been a long one. Hope you have enjoyed reading about my busy week.
I would love to hear about what you have done..
