Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

  £5.99 // Here

I was able to buy this as I had spent enough in Boots over the past few months in order to have £10 worth of points. Whoops.
It was a toss up between this and the Expert Face Brush, but I decided on this as it was cheaper, and I already own the Stippling Brush from Real Techniques.

The Miracle Complexion Sponge is meant to create "high definition results" and a "flawless base". I think it lives up to this. I've used make-up sponges before and they have turned out to be just that; a sponge. But the Miracle Complexion Sponge smooths foundation on easily and evenly and is really easy to use due to the tapered edge. I would say it creates a better base than my stippling brush, and is much cheaper at £5.99, rather than the £12.99 I paid for the stippling brush. The only negative I found was that, like a sponge, I did have to use slightly more foundation than usual as it did tend to soak it in; although this may be because it was the first use, and will become less absorbent after a few uses.

I hope you found this review helpful, or the slightest bit interesting!
