One dress, four seasons.

As we (the UK) are now edging into autumn, I wanted to find a way to adapt my favourite summer dress in order to enable me to wear it all year round - as I just can't say goodbye. Therefore I thought I would share with you my 'ootd' adapted for each season using the same dress. I also haven't done an outfit post in a while (my last one being last year), and wanted to mix things up a bit. The dress in question is from Warehouse.

This is (generally) how I've been wearing this dress all summer; occasionally adding a leather jacket for the evening.

Dress - As Mentioned
Strappy Sandals - Primark
Glasses - Primark

For spring I throw over a light jacket or blazer, add some flats and some bold jewellery.

Blazer - Zara
Pointed Nude Shoes - Tesco
Ring - Ebay

In autumn I want to be a bit warmer, therefore I throw on black tights, chelsea boots, a cardigan and add a bit of burnt orange via a wool hat. It's also time to go back to school/work, so I add my trusty watch.

Cardigan - New Look
Hat - Nasty Gal
Chelsea Boots - Clarks
Watch - ASOS

In winter I need even more warmth, therefore add a woollen coat, scarf and gloves (as needed), thick black tights, sturdy boots and a dark red lip.

Coat - French Connection
Boots - New Look
Red Lipstick - See my review here.

Do you have a summer dress you can't let go of just yet?
I hope you liked my 'outfits of the seasons'.

  1. Love this idea! I hate it when you buy a piece of clothing and can only wear it for one season, the dress looks gorgeous on you as well :) xo

    1. Thank you! :) it's especially annoying if you spend a lot on just one item, haha. x

  2. Love this post and how you've restyled it for each season. My favourite is winter by farrrr! I love that coat! I'm after a similar mint green one from new look atm :)

Great post and pics! More of this please!

    Haaappy Autumn!

    1. Thanks Hailes! I think I've seen the green coat you're talking about, it's so nice!
