Demonstrate a thorough understanding of and adherence to standard operating procedures of company safe lifting practices
Demonstrate ability to drive and teach company philosophy around core retail principles. The basic P's of retail include but are not limited to: people, position, product, presentation, price, promotion, purchases
Provide direction to all Product Sales Specialists to ensure a highly attentive and accurate level of customer service
Complete all Product Specialist Certification courses
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the merchandise and installation
Ensure overall merchandising, pricing and organization of the department
Communicate direction and changes to standard operating procedures to all associates in a timely manner
Complete Proficiency Testing and Certification of Industrial Trucks (Forklifts)
Communicate inventory needs to management
Direct and assist in the processing of merchandise to the showroom floor
Validate all product placements and pricing within the department
Greet each customer in a helpful and courteous manner
Assist customers with questions and product selections
Process customers at checkout using the Point of Sale (POS) system
Process customer refunds and exchanges within established guidelines
Present practical courses to clients
Follow established procedures for accepting cash, checks and credit cards
Answer the phone according to accepted guidelines
Stock and label merchandise displays as needed
Create price tags and merchandise panels
Working conditions (travel, hours, environment)
